What and why

When an AI Coach scorecard runs on the wrong meeting — an internal sync, a customer training, or an ad-hoc call outside your sales motion — the score lands on the rep's average in the Insights dashboard and pulls it in the wrong direction. To fix it, open the recording, go to the AI Coach tab, expand the feedback section, and click Remove Feedback. The score disappears from both the recording and the Insights dashboard, keeping your coaching averages accurate.

Who this is for

Sales managers, revenue leaders, and RevOps admins running AI Coach on mid-market sales teams — anyone who reviews scorecard averages across reps and needs those numbers to reflect real customer conversations.

Prerequisites

  • An active Demodesk Coaching & AI plan (AI Coach is included).
  • Admin or manager permissions on the account.
  • At least one scorecard already generated on the meeting you want to clean up.
  • The meeting recording is still available in your workspace (not deleted by retention rules).

Steps

  1. Open the recording. Go to Meetings and find the ad-hoc meeting whose scorecard you want to remove. Click into the recording to open the meeting detail view.
  2. Switch to the AI Coach tab. Inside the recording, open the AI Coach tab alongside the transcript and AI Assistant summary. The generated scorecard for the meeting lives here.
  3. Expand the feedback section.Click the scorecard entry to expand the full feedback view. You'll see the score, criteria breakdown, and the AI Coach's written feedback for the call.
  4. Click Remove Feedback. At the top of the expanded feedback section, click Remove Feedback. Confirm if prompted.
  5. Verify on the Insights dashboard. Go to Insightsand open the rep's coaching view. The removed scorecard no longer counts toward the rep's average.

The recording stays in your workspace — transcript, summary, and any CRM sync remain untouched. Only the scorecard and its impact on averages are removed.

Tips

  • Do it before your next 1:1. Removing mis-scored meetings before a rep review keeps the conversation focused on real customer calls, not internal syncs.
  • Filter which meetings AI Coach scores. If ad-hoc meetings get scored often, adjust the configuration so you're not cleaning up after the fact.
  • Tag meetings by type.Tag internal meetings, trainings, and customer calls differently so it's clear at a glance which scorecards should count.
  • Document removals in a shared doc.If you're removing a scorecard because it falls outside your coaching methodology, note the reason so your team learns which meetings to exclude going forward.
  • Bookmark customer-facing calls. Bookmarked recordings are excluded from auto-deletion, so your best coaching examples stay available even under short retention policies.
